I have been in the business of grooming, boarding and breeding small dogs for 25+ years. Many times I have heard people say the same things over and over. "All we want is a little dog that doesn't shed, is not hyper, has a brain (trainable), is lower maintenance than the longhair toys, not so yippy, not so one personish, doesn't pee when you reach for it, not a digger or chewer, good with children, etc". | Another breeder may attempt to do this, but all my breeding boys and girls are hand picked and raised to produce the cutest, the smartest, the flirtiest, the most baby faced, etc. The coat is thick, soft and silky, not full length, not harsh (like a poodle) and easily kept in comparison to other purebred, non-shed breeds. They are the best of all worlds. |

All my babies are born in my kitchen and raised up in my grooming shop (quite nice). I'm a small operation and availability is limited. I've had 3 full color pages in a women's business publication called "SHE" about my shop and dogs. They condensed this article entitled "She's going to the dogs and loves it!" and made it 1/2 of the state pages for these Midwest newspapers, "The Milwaukee Journal" the "Chicago Tribune" and the "St. Paul Press". The picture you see of me with my Scottish Terriers was the one used in the papers and on the cover of "SHE" Yeah! Finally a positive story for a pet breeder instead of a negative "puppy mill" write up. |

I was asked to speak at Western Wisconsin's Tech Colleges Small Business Outreach Program. I did and received an "Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award" plaque and check. It was the first time that award was ever given and I received honorable mention after that. Knowing and breeding good dogs is 1/2 the business, service and follow up is the other. I put an effort into matching the right puppy for you and your family. I want my pups to be "one owner" dogs, not cast offs. If I feel I have nothing appropriate I'll tell you and make other suggestions to help you find the right puppy.
